  3.     6. Precautions for machines which are version 1.2 or earlier:

  5. People using version 1.3 and higher can ignore this section. There are no
  6. problems whatsoever on their versions.

  8. There are no problems if you use a software upgrade to 1.3. If you haven't 
  9. already upgraded then YOU MUST! If only because the rendering of text is so much
  10. faster and you get a shell.

  12. WARNING:
  13. On version 1.2 if you try iconizing ram: the programme can start iconizing df0:
  14. instead. This seems to be due to a bug in the early AmigaDOS.
  15. I think this is because ram: is known to the system as "Ram Disk:"
  16. which unfortunately has a space in it. There is no danger of any data being 
  17. destroyed, you just may end up with a whole load of icons you dont want. This 
  18. problem can be solved by placing ICON_TOOLBOX in the directory you wish to
  19. iconize. Also try doing a minimal iconization first eg only iconize directories
  20. and do not enter subdirectories. Finally write protect your disks until you feel
  21. confident.
